Man’s Purpose: from the Baltimore Catechism
To know God.
We know God as we grow in our relationship with Him through prayer, and understand our identity as His children.

ADORE
We love because He first loved us and we have an identity, with an inheritance,
as sons and daughters of God.
“See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God.”
1 John 3:1
To love God.
We are to be conformed to Christ, to love like Jesus, in full surrender and sacrifice - to die to self and live for Christ.
Worship: to give glory or honor.
WORSHIP
In gratitude, our lives become a living sacrifice.
We live to love Him in return.
“I urge you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,
holy and pleasing to God, your spiritual worship.”
Romans 12:1
To serve God.
Do the work He's calling us to do - serve His people, bring others to Him.
Evangelize: to bring good news, to convert or seek to convert
EVANGELIZE
Ignited by the Holy Spirit, we love others as He loved us.
“As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons.”
