Mass Intentions
Offering a Mass intention is a meaningful way to pray for and remember loved ones,
whether they are living or deceased.
AVAILABILITY
To ensure a fair and equitable opportunity for all to offer a Mass, the Mass intention schedule is open for seven months at a time. At any given time, you will only be able to choose a date within those seven months. A new month becomes available on the first business day of each month.
Please note that in November, you will not be able to request a Mass intention as all Masses are offered for the faithful departed.
REQUESTING A MASS INTENTION
Online - You may now request a Mass intention online. You will be able to view available Mass times and make your request in real time.
Office Assisted - You may request Mass Intentions by coming to or calling the Parish Office at (864) 288-4884 during office hours.
DONATIONS
The parish gratefully accepts Mass Intention donations in any amount. The customary offering is $10 per intention. However, a donation is not required to request a Mass intention.
Currently, the online portal to make a donation is not available. However, your offering can be:
Brought to the Parish Office.
Mailed to the Parish. Please indicate “Mass Intention” on the envelope.
Dropped in the offertory basket. Please indicate “Mass intention" on the envelope and the check memo line.
For your protection, we do not accept credit card information over the phone.
RESTRICTIONS
To give all a fair opportunity to request Mass intentions, some limits have been set.
A household may request Mass intentions for up to three (3) masses per month, of which only one can be a Sunday Mass or Saturday vigil.
Requests for the same name(s) may not be scheduled on consecutive days.
OTHER INFORMATION
Donations for Mass Intentions are not refundable. However, your Mass intention can be rescheduled to a different date.
On Holy days when the Mass schedule changes or when we have communion services, your Mass intention may be rescheduled. Should this happen, you will be notified.
