The Theme of our Parish Mission
Come and See
Those were the first words Jesus uttered to the first apostles who had followed John the Baptist and were now curious about him.
“Well, if you're like me, living our Catholic faith in the year 2025 can be a bit daunting, and I'm curious, and I have some questions for Jesus, as he invites us to come and see,” says Mike.
So, if you like to laugh, think, get to know people in your parish, and have your faith renewed and challenged, then join us for our three-night Parish Mission in November.
And don't be afraid to invite a friend.
November 10, 11 & 12, 2025
A special invitation
Who is Mike Patin?
Mike Patin is a Catholic speaker who lives in Lafayette, Louisiana. He is a former high school teacher and coach. He has also coached at the university level.
He has served as a diocesan youth director, but for the last 20-plus years, he has been leading parish mission.
“Now, what's a mission? Is it just listening to a bunch of talks?"
Not really,” says Mike.
The missions that Mike leads are more of an encounter where we engage with each other and with Jesus Christ, alive in Scripture, the sacraments, and the community.
He calls his presentations a CONVOFLECTATION. It's part conversation, part reflection, and part presentation.
