Formation Committee
Join Our New Parish Formation Committee
Our parish is forming a Formation Committee to help guide and support lifelong faith formation, catechesis, and discipleship for all ages. Working alongside our parish staff, this committee will prayerfully discern and offer insight on how we can grow as a community of missionary disciples, rooted in the teachings of the Church and the Catechism.
If you have a heart for evangelization, teaching the faith, or supporting others in their spiritual journey, we invite you to prayerfully consider serving. Together, we can build a vibrant culture of learning, growing, and living our Catholic faith.
Membership Expectations:
Registered member of St. Mary Magdalene who regularly worships with the parish community and participates in the sacraments; demonstrates a love of Christ and His Church
Interest in supporting all ages to experience spiritual growth and continued faith formation
Commitment to understand and live out our parish mission to form missionary disciples through faith formation opportunities under the guidance of the Holy Spirit
Experience in teaching, catechesis, small group leadership, or ministry involvement (helpful but not required)
Willingness to participate in respectful dialogue that supports consensus decision-making
Actively support and participate in faith formation programs and events as needed
The committee will meet twice a month at the beginning, at a time based on the availability of the members. Once a cohesive strategic plan is in effect, we will meet monthly.
