 St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Simpsonville, SC is a part of the Diocese of Charleston, SC. St. Mary Magdalene is a fast-growing, active, family-oriented parish with over 2,500 families registered, and we are blessed to have 52 different ministries serving our community and parish. Our breathtaking buildings and tastefully manicured landscapes make coming to our parish a very pleasant experience, and our congenial parishoners make this a truly special place to worship.

Campaign Prayer
O God of Love, We are grateful for all you have given us. We are thankful for all of your gifts. As we celebrate our past, we look to the future with hope. As a thanksgiving offering for our past blessings we make a gift to future generations. Bless our efforts in this campaign for the benefit of our parish and diocese. Fill us with your life giving Spirit that we may face the challenges of our undertaking with courage, cooperation and generosity. May our efforts to live as a community to proclaiming the Good News, be a source of blessing to many especially our children. May we always praise You, the Holy One of all blessings. Parish Membership:

St. Mary Magdalene is a Sacrificial Giving Parish committed to serving the Lord with God-given time, talent, and treasure. Please make sure you complete a Parish Registration Card and after doing so please use your parish envelopes in the collection basket. It is important to use your envelopes since this is an indication to the office staff that you are an active parishioner. Only Active Parishioners can be sponsors, have their children baptized, and qualify for Parishioner tuition rate in parochial schools. Stewardship also asks that you make your talents available, please take advantage of our wide selection of ministries and join one now. |

Parents’ Rooms and Nursery:
|

We offer for those families with young children who are not old enough to understand the Mass several different options. The first is our two spacious glass enclosed Parents’ Rooms. Second we offer a Nursery during Mass, you may drop your child off in the care of our professional child-care giver and pick your child up after Mass (yes, you have to pick them up. j/k). We also offer Religious Education for K4-K5 during the 9am and the 11am, again you may drop them off before Mass and pick them up after. |

Baptisms & Sponsors:

Only Active registered parishioners may have their child baptized at our parish. We offer a workshop once a month that must be attended before the baptism. At least one sponsor must be a practicing Catholic, and a sponsor certificate form will be required from their home parish. If you are asked to be a sponsor you must be an active parishioner of our parish (see Parish Membership) to obtain a sponsor certificate form. Please Contact the parish office @ 288-4884 |

Weddings:

We welcome all who would like to be married in our church. Only active contributing parishioners waive the church rental fee. All others will be asked to make a donation. Please reserve your date as soon as possible. A $100.00 deposit is asked to secure your date. Arrangements must be made at least 6 months in advance. Please Contact: Deacon Matthew Mannino ext 207 |
